Our favorite bars with reggae vibes
As a lover of reggae music and positive
vibes, I am always looking for nice and chilled bars to go and relax with
friends sometimes. There are hundreds of interesting bars in Barcelona which
sometimes makes it difficult to pick one. Hope my recommendations will help you
when you feel like a chilled moment with reggae vibes!
Mariatchi
Rumours say that Mariatchi would be
Mr Manu Chao’s bar. And even though all the evidents support the rumours, we
are still not 100% sure. I absolutely love the laid back atmosphere of the bar!
When we walked in, the bartender greeted us with a super happy smile and sit
down with us to get our order. We felt really welcome and didn’t feel like
leaving – until we really had to. If you are walking around the area and feel like a small break, go and relax at Mariatchi

Bella B Afro Music Bar
This bar is really small, a little
bit edgy and simple but I really love the warm reggae vibes and positive energy
of the place. It is located in the beautiful Gràcia neighbourhood. The
bartender played our music wishes and we were dancing to our favorite reggae and
ska beats. The drinks are quite cheap and the staff is really friendly. It is a
perfect place to start the night before going to a nightclub or spend the whole
night there listening to live music and dancing like we did ;) If you like
small bars with good music this is your place!

Eat Caribbean
Eat Caribbean is probably one of my
favorite restaurants in Barcelona! It is located close to metro Drassanes, in
El Raval. When you step inside the bar, you feel like you are in Jamaica. The staff
is absolutely wonderful and the food and mojitos are like heaven! I really
recommend this place for live music sessions, lunch and dinner and of course
for drinks with friends. The vegetarian option is super good (approved by my meat-lover friend who said it is the best vegetarian dish she has ever tasted) with amazing sweet potatoes. Eat Caribbean is a nice place to go for a romantic date too ;)

Bar Sincopa
Even though Sincopa is really not a
reggae bar, they sometimes play reggae too and have a really nice relaxed
atmosphere with good rock music and cosy feeling. It is located just in the
heart of the Gothic Quarter, within walking distance from the metro Drassanes.
The staff is friendly and the drinks are affordable and tasty. The bar only
accepts cash at the moment so be prepared!
There is a nightclub with reggae vibes called BoomBastic Club that I would like to try too. It is on my bucket list for next times when I feel like dancing! Have you tried any nice bars with positive reggae vibes that you would love to share with us?
