Our Story

We are two Finnish girls in our late twenties who one day decided to escape the coldness and start a new life in Barcelona. We met each other in Malaga seven years ago and since then travelled in 23 different countries together and explored Barcelona’s hidden gems. We share a passion for good vegetarian food, nature, yoga, arts and constantly looking for new interesting places that alternative Barcelona has to offer.

Sofi moved to Barcelona three years ago after living in Canary Islands, Andalucía and Portugal. Sofi is a curious daydreamer and a bookworm and really interested in reading about different cultures, politics and environment. She enjoys the little pleasures of life like sipping wine and people watching in a terrace with a beautiful view, wandering around Barcelona´s numerous second hand markets or trying some new flavours in an exotic restaurant.

Kristiina has been living in Barcelona for less than a year and has completely fallen in love with her new hometown! She was here on a holiday for the first time when she was 19 years old and since then she couldn’t get Barcelona out of her mind. After studying in Finland and spending some time working and studying in Germany, Malta and England, she was ready to come here and make her Barcelona dream come true.

As we have moved here from a different country and started everything from the scratch, we know that in addition to all the lovely exciting things there will be some challenges and questions. We wanted to create a place where to collect information about our favorite things and discoveries in Barcelona that might also help other people who are in a similar situation or who are looking for tips for an amazing holiday.
